Commercial Germicidal UV Light Solutions

Stealth Control engineers can design, build, or retrofit innovative high-tech industrial germicidal UV light systems and HVAC systems. These systems will implement super-fast communication systems for commercial and small industrial building envelopes such as office buildings, schools, retail stores, manufacturers, and restaurants.

In 1999, Stealth Controls was awarded a Federal contract to upgrade the HVAC/Chill Water system for the USDA pasture lab at State College Pennsylvania, located on the campus at Penn State University. The newly upgraded building envelope included replacement of 28 water source MacQuay heat pumps, (1) 500 ton chiller, and a 500 ton BAC cooling tower.

The main goal was to focus on supplying precision tempered air to laboratory clean rooms. Without compromising system efficiency, the system installed managed unwanted relative humidity through ultraviolet lighting probes at high concentration points of the evaporator coil.

With renewed attention and recognition of the value of using UV light for sanitization of all kinds of facilities, Stealth Controls technicians continued to bring to bear their experience and knowledge using this technology in HVAC applications.
