HVAC Building Automation Systems

The ecosystem of building automation systems has adopted several acronyms, and Stealth Controls is well-versed in all of them.

  1. Building Automation Systems (B.A.S) are communications system that receives data over a secured network in which controls operate electro-mechanical components inside of a HVAC, Security, and Lighting system. This is contrary to an I.T. networking system which would be used in a home or commercial building.
  2. Direct Digital Control (D.D.C) is a digital stand alone controller that operates within an HVAC system. It controls motors, valves and dampers and communicates with other digital controllers in response to temperature, humidity voltage and pressure which, in turn, report to a dedicated supervisory computer.
  3. Energy Management System (E.M.S) or energy control management system (E.C.M.S) is a network that monitors all energy aspects of an entire mechanical, electrical and data system within a building envelope.
  4. HVAC B.A.S systems is an extremely complex industry, and it’s constantly changing in today’s fast paced world of technology. Stealth Controls is highly skilled in programming, installation, service and retrofitting HVAC building automation systems, Direct Digital Controls, and modern building automation controls no matter the application.
